Final Partner Meeting in Novo mesto

Final Meeting of the Project Promoting Mental Health and Well-being through Virtual Exchange in Secondary Schools (wExchange): Two Days of Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing, and Final Planning

On 7 and 8 May 2025, the University of Novo mesto, in cooperation with the School Centre Novo mesto – Secondary School of Health and Chemistry, hosted the final international meeting of the project Promoting Mental Health and Well-being through Virtual Exchange in Secondary Schools (wExchange).

This international initiative, which brings together institutions from various European countries, focuses on developing innovative, digitally supported forms of exchange to strengthen mental health and well-being among secondary school students.

The two-day meeting was held in an engaging and professionally rich atmosphere. Participants presented the project’s key achievements, shared experiences from the implementation phase, and focused on the remaining steps toward the project’s successful conclusion.

The main focus of the meeting was the preparation of the Final Seminar and the drafting of the Final Project Report, which will comprehensively capture the development processes, best practices, and project impact on students, teachers, and partner institutions. In dedicated workshops, partners worked together to define the structure and content of the final event and report, including evaluation findings and recommendations for future educational initiatives.

On Wednesday afternoon, participants had the opportunity to explore the historic centre of Novo mesto and concluded the day with a pleasant group dinner, strengthening not only professional but also personal bonds among partners.

Final impressions? Inspiring, collaborative, and forward-looking. The wExchange project has not only been successfully implemented, but it has also laid strong foundations for continued cooperation that integrates digital technology, emotional literacy, and the exchange of best practices among students and educators.
